Posted April 14, 2010. Finally found my Mills book. Appears you have a Pattern 1887 Officers Cavalry Cartridge Belt. If the loops are for a 38 Call round its 1892. Later if 45 cal, Books say its one of the scarcest of the later Cavalry Belts. The picture isn't clear in the book but looks like a match to me.
